COMMAND AT ST [3D MODEL] Rebelscale

All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST)

The All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST) served as the Empire's primary ground support walker. Smaller and faster than its AT-AT cousin, the AT-ST could more easily navigate narrow ravines and ferret out enemy resistances. Furthermore, its size allowed Imperial transports to quickly load and unload the walkers without the need of larger support vessels. In turn, AT-ST's were commonly seconded to Outer Rim territories where supplies and support were limited.

The All Terrain Scout Transport was highly modular in it's design with weapon hardpoints under its chin and on either side of the command head. Typical loadouts included blasters and concussion grenade launchers, and crews would often interchange weapons in the field as needs arose. Moreover, crews could add spotlights, rocket launchers, communication arrays, additional armor, and winch units to the walker.

Though normally operated by two drivers, one driver could pilot the AT-ST and control half of the weapon systems. Additionally, Stormtrooper commanders would often stand in the roof hatch of the lead AT-ST, which would allow greater visibility. Small blaster turrets and armor could be added to the roof for the commander's protection.
